Pakistan: Deraglia treno in burrone a Punjab, diversi feriti (Update)

ISLAMABAD - E' deragliato un treno passeggeri nei pressi della citta' di Jhelum, nella provincia del Punjab, in Pakistan. La tv pakistana ha riferito che alcune carrozze sono finite in un burrone e ci sarebbero feriti. Non e' ancora chiaro il numero delle persone che viaggiavano a bordo del treno, partito da Rawalpindi, nei pressi di Islamabad, e diretto a Lahore, la capitale del Punjab. (Agr)

ISLAMABAD - Sono almeno sei le carrozze finite in un burrone, nel deragliamento del treno passeggeri avvenuto nel circondario di Jhelum, nel Pakistan centrale. Il ministro delle Ferrovie, Ishaq Khalwani, ha fatto sapere che nell'incidente potrebbero essere rimasti coinvolti 400 passeggeri. Il treno era partito da Rawalpindi, citta' gemella di Islamabad, diretto a Lahore, nel Pakistan orientale. (Agr)

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - A passenger train carrying up to 600 people derailed Sunday in eastern Pakistan, sending several cars into a ravine, officials said. There were no immediate reports of injures in the accident, which occurred near the town of Jhelum in eastern Punjab province at around 7:30 p.m., said Salimur Rahman Akhund, general manager of operations with the state-run Pakistan Railways...

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - A passenger train carrying up to 600 people derailed Sunday evening and plunged into a ravine in eastern Pakistan, killing at least two people and injuring 30 others, officials said. The 10-car train flew off the tracks around 7:30 p.m. (14:30 GMT) and four carriages fell into the gorge, said Salimur Rahman Akhund, general manager of operations with the state-run Pakistan Railways. Pakistan's Interior Minister Aftab Khan Sherpao told The Associated Press he had received confirmation of at least two deaths and 30 injuries...
