 CDex 1.74 CDex è è un software Open Source in grado di estrarre dati dai CD Audio (CD Ripping), come file WAV o compresso tramite encoder nei formati: MP3, APE lossles, Ogg Vorbis, NTT VQF, FAAC, Windows WMA8. Il software consente anche di convertire i file audio da un formato a un altro tra quelli supportati, supporta i tag ID3V1 e ID3V2, che possono essere inseriti automaticamente come parte del processo di estrazione; accede al database online CDDB per avere sempre i titoli degli album e supporta playlist in formato M3U e PLS.
