primo.. marca del modem ...interno o usb o seriale x quest' ultimo non ci dovrebbero essre problemi..comunque c'e da perdere tempo...ma non c'e il segnale di un gestore telefonia mobile ...? in questo caso non avresti problemi..

Appena posso vi posto il file. Il modem è un normale seriale della Digicom (Leonardo 56) Per quanto riguarda il segnale cellulare abito in un posto un po' sfortunato, cioè arrivano un po' tutti i gestori ma nessuno in maniera soddisfacente, ho provato ancora col mio samsung Z150 (con win perchè non sono mai riuscito a configurarlo in linux) però funziona più lentamente che con la normale linea analogica.

allora se hai un seriale fai wvdial.conf e vedi se te lo vede nella directory... comunque un amico usa la tre..( pennetta )con il segnale praticamente a zero..e talvolta 1 tacca e la velocita arriva quasi sempre oltre i 500 kbs

1. Controlla se effettivamente pppd sta nella cartella /usr/sbin/pppd altrimenti metti PPPD Path=path dove path è dove si trova l'eseguibile (cerca ad esempio in /bin, /sbin, /usr/local/bin, /usr/local/sbin 2. Dovresti disabilitare lo Stupid mode mettendolo a off sennò se il terminal server li invia alcuni informazioni, lui le ignora e fa partire indipedentemente dallo stato pppd |

Si avevo già controllato e si trova li in /usr/sbin, ho provato pure a cambiargli i permessi con : <chmod g +rwx> ma non so se effettivamente i parametri sono esatti, comunque niente da fare. Proverò a togliere lo "stupid mode". Ciao
