È un Pentium II, il boing è un rumore normale che fa quando si spegne.

Il Pentium 2 è molto vecchio, e forse Ubuntu non è compatibile al 100% con questo.
Prima avevi Windows 98?? Si spegneva da solo o compariva l'immagine ORA SI PUO' SPEGNERE ??

prova ad usare uno ps/2 sè è quello qualcuno saprà come si disattiva l'usb allo spegnimento del pc. |

non vorrei dire una boiata ma prova a caricare il modulo apm ad ogni avvio...
modprobe -a apm avevo un problema del genere qualche anno fa con un vecchio pc e la slackware 10.2 e si risolse in questo modo... fammi sapere

basta che inserisci il comando in uno script caricato automaticamente all'avvio.
esempio: /etc/rc.local (debian e derivate) /etc/rc.d/rc.local (slackware e derivate) ma ha funzionato?

Si, è tutto ok. Il computer è un po vecchio e ho scoperto che se premo forte il pulsante si riaccende, quindi devo premelo lentamente, senno si riavvia. Ciao e grazie cmq.
