[*BUNTU] problema riproduzione video con aixgl

Ho installato ubuntu e abilitato aixgl con beryl e i driver ati presenti nel kernel e tutto funziona a dovere tranne per questo piccolo problema, non riesco a vedere o sentire i video; se apro un video con vlc sento l'audio ma non vedo immagini (rimane tutto nero) con gli altri player (li ho installati praticamente tutti) vedo le immagini ma non sento l'audio...
Altro problemino me lo da amarok che tutte le volte mi chiede di installare il supporto agli mp3 (che già è installato) e poi crasha (uso comunque gnome).

P.S. ovviamente ho già letto varie guide che ho trovato in rete sul problema della riproduzione video col desktop 3d ma non ho risolto nulla, e altrettanto ho già installato tutti i codec audio e video esistenti.

Ma disattivando beryl manager non tolgo anche aixgl visto che quest'ultimo è compreso in xorg? Comunque senza beryl i video su vlc li vedo, il problema con gli altri player permane.

Hai provato ad utilizzare mplayer, lanciandolo da riga di comando e seguendo quello che avviene nel terminale si può capire meglio dove sta il problema.

Prova a lanciare vlc da terminale, anche in questo caso l'output aiuta.
