Qual'è il processore max supportato

Salve, ho un pc Compaq Presario 5000 modello 5WV297 che monta un processore Athlon 1 Ghz. Ora per ragioni di maggior potenza vorrei fare un upgrade al processore e vorrei sapere qual'è il max processore supportato da questo modello di Presario oppure se questo Athlon 1 Ghz è già il max raggiungibile dalla scheda madre. Sono andato sul sito Hp e mi hanno sfornato una serie di dati che non riesco bene a capire, ma che a voi più esperti diranno sicuramente di più.

volevo sapere con sicurezza se il duron 1800 che mi consigli è supportato dalla mia scheda madre oppure rischio di fare un acquisto inutile ?

di solito anche se non ufficialmente supportato funziona non l'ho provato sulla tua mobo ma su altre ha funzionato l'importante e' che la mobo possa scendere fino a 1,5 volt comunque considera che il duron nuovo e un thunderbird quindi se funziona il thunderbird funziona anche il duron
