POP Peeper è un leggerissimo client di posta elettronica; supporta POP3, IMAP (inclusi GMail, AOL, AIM, Netscape, FastMail, ecc), SMTP, GMail, HotmailMSNLiveMail, Yahoo, Mail.com, MyWay, Excite, Lycos.com, RediffMail, Juno, NetZero.
Ha opzioni per diminuire/eliminare i rischi insiti nella lettura, come virus, javascript, webbugs, ecc. Se il PC è condiviso, l'accesso agli account e/o a Pop Peeper stesso può essere protetto con una password.

Sono disponibili plugins per aumentare le funzionalità di POP Peeper:

• Notification Plugins - Download plugins that provide even more ways to let you known when you have new email, including a skinnable popup and screensaver.
• SSL Plugin - Allows secure POP3/SMTP connections
