This is a project that uses dynamic machine code translation to recompile x86 programs to PPC by first decompiling and using gcc to recompile. It is designed to operate in user-mode with WINE and as a virtual machine (ala Bochs and similar).
This is very interesting, because it will run x86 code at near native speeds because it literally recompiles the programs for PPC (using your gcc settings), and it should (theoretically, or eventually) be able to run anything that can be run on x86 Linux.
