under key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer
Setting this value, e.g., to 3 pauses execution of startup programs by 3 sec each
Works under Windows Millennium (I found it in my personal investigations and test it)
Above versions (2000, XP etc.) not tested, but who knows?..
