Problemi di ShutDown in WinXp....

Grosso problema....nonostante il mio case sia ATx il mio bel Winxp Final 2600 arrivato alla fine della chiusura del sistema rimane con il suo loghettino bellino su sfondo nero lasciandomi scritto "it's now safe to turn off the computer" E NON SI SPEGNEEEE!!!
Questo problema non mi si è mai verificato ne con il 95/98/me ma ora si !
In win2k ho avuto un problema simile con i Driver Isdn (avevo ancora un targetWorld) ma non arrivava neanche a questo punto...
I miei tentativi sono stati:
Provare a spegnere il pc dopo l'installazione senza neanche aver aggiornato ne aggiunto driver se non i proprietari con XP.
Attivare l'APM (in questo caso anzichè spegnersi si riavviava al momento dello shutdown...).

La palla maggiore sono i miei genitori che mi spakkano le ***** perchè magari lascio qualcosa in download durante la notte e anche se getright fa il suo sporco lavoro "tentando" di spegnere il pc,il sistema fa per i cavoli suoi....



E dopo tutto ciò dico con sicurezza che tolto questo piccolo problema....WIN XP RULLA DI BRUTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Io ho windows xp corporate e ho il tuo stesso problema :):):)
Me lo faceva anche con la 2505 2532 2542.

Pure io ho sto problema ma solo con SCHEDA MADRE Asus P2BF con la CUSL2 non lo fa e neppure con il PC portatile della COMPAQ

Andate in gestione risparmio energetico e abilitate "Attiva supporto APM"... a me ha funzionato

Mi accodo all'urlo di dolore.
Anche io sono affetto da questa piaga. Cmq ho saputo che scaricando i driver del bios della scheda madre aggiornati si dovrebbe risolvere tutto.

Per chi ha schede video con chip nVidia, impostate l'avvio da automatico a manuale dell'helper service di nVidia nei servizi di XP

perche' e' tutto sempre piu' difficile per me :( :( :( :( :( :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:
allora:
*il supporto apm e' attivato
*ho una scheda con il chipset nVidia ma non ho l'helper nei servizi
*mi sono letto tutta la pagina e' forse penso di aver trovato la soluzione .... io ho una scheda asus P2BF che in pratica quando viene installato l'xp questi,non vede l'ACPI...e quindi c'e' tutta la procedura da fare pero' durante l'installazione!ma io non voglio reinstallare....poi mi sembra di aver letto che nel caso xp fosse gia installato bisognerebbe sciegliere "Repair option" qual'e' il suo corrispondente italiano? aiutatemi(D)


MOTHERBOARDS: Asus P2B-F. Causes a shutdown problem because Win XP Setup doesn’t enable ACPI by default. SOLUTION: Manually enable ACPI during a Win XP install or reinstall. Correspondent Bill Anderson (based on solution by “Willy.”) gave a lengthy description of how to do this (edited a little bit for space reasons):


Boot the computer from the Win XP CD-ROM.
Win XP Setup says it’s checking hardware. Soon after, at the bottom of the screen, it offers the opportunity to press F6. Do this at once, and cross your fingers! [Various users report difficulty with this. Apparently, sometimes it works; sometimes not. It may be in the timing of exactly when you press the key. I haven’t been able to test it, because I don’t have this board. You may have to try repeatedly, or try pressing F6 and F5 repeatedly. – JAE] When successful, you’ll see a two-paragraph instruction that begins, “To specify additional SCSI or other mass storage devices.” Press <ENTER> to brings up a small window that appears to contain only two options, but, in fact, contains more (use the arrow keys to scroll up). If this windows doesn’t appear at this point, you need to start over and do more pressing of F6 and F5!
When the small window does appear, use the up-arrow to choose “Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI).” (It’s the third from the top of the list.)
Next, you may see that two-paragraph SCSI/mass storage instruction again. If so, press <ENTER>. Many drivers will load, then you should see the Win XP installation screen. If you are running this after Win XP is already installed, choose the Repair option
